Report: Cbank to mull cutting key interest rate 0.25-0.5 pp Oct

MOSCOW, Oct 17 (PRIME) -- The central bank will discuss reducing the key interest rate by 0.25 or 0.5 percentage points in October, Bloomberg news agency quoted Igor Dmitriyev, head of the monetary policy department of the central bank, as saying on Tuesday.

Dmitriyev also said the central bank is unlikely to maintain the rate on October 27.

In September, the rate was reduced by 50 basis points to 8.5% annually.
